Mocha Stuffed French Toast

With a chocolatey taste, this mocha stuffed french toast uses raspberries as the stuffing, but you can really use any berry that you like - strawberries, blackberries, it's all good! No matter which berries you decide to use, you'll love how it fills you up and tastes incredible to start your day right. It's almost dessert-like! That's how yummy this french toast is. And, of course, it's full of protein and healthy goodness!

Ingredients

  • 2 pieces of your favorite bread
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate MuscleEgg egg whites
  • 3 tablespoons cold brewed coffee or espresso
  • 1/2 scoop milk chocolate protein powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cacao powder
  • 1/4 cup raspberries
  • 1 tablespoon Coffee Bean Buff Bake almond butter or almond butter of choice

Instructions

  1. In a shallow bowl mix together MuscleEgg egg whites, protein powder, coffee, vanilla, and cacao powder.
  2. Place bread in mixture and let soak for 5-7 minutes until most of the liquid is absorbed.
  3. Preheat a griddle/pan and coat with non stick spray. Cook bread 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  4. Slather each slice of bread with almond butter, top with chopped raspberries, and stack to enjoy!
