Peach Egg Tart

You may have had a tart or two before, but unless it's this peach egg tart, you don't know how good (and good FOR you) they can be! They feature peach cobbler MuscleEgg and are easy to make, providing you with peachy, protein filled snacks. Make a bunch for the week, eat them on the go or whenever you get a craving for something sweet and fruity.

Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup Peach Cobbler MuscleEgg
  • 1 short crust pastry
  • 1/4 cup Peach Elliquqrk
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 peach sliced

For the Caramel:

  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 5 tbsp Truvia brown sugar blend
  • 1 splash Peach Schnapps.

Instructions

Instructions:

  1. Pre heat oven to 350F.
  2. Line a 9 inch tart pan with the pastry (you can get this ready made or make your own).

  3. Arrange some fresh peach slices in the pastry.

  4. In a small mixing bowl using an electric whisk combine all of the ingredients until it is a smooth texture. Then poor into the pastry shell, covering the peach slices.

  5. Bake in the pre-heated oven for 20-25 minutes. First check at 20 minutes, the center of the tart should be a little firm but not wet. If it is still a little wet cook for a few more minutes.

  6. Remove from the oven and Cool.

For The Caramel Sauce:

  1. Combine the butter and sugar in a small saucepan over low heat and stir continually until the sugar has dissolved. Then add in the Peach Schnapps plus a few extra peach slices and continue to cook on a low heat for around a minute.

  2. Add in the peach Schnapps plus a few extra peach slices and continue to cook on a low heat for around a minute.

  3. Poor the caramelized peaches over the tart and enjoy!
