Egg White Meringue

Ingredients

  • 3 Egg Whites
  • 1/4 Tbsp. Cream of Tartar
  • 6 Tbsp. Sugar

Instructions

  1. The first thing that you would need to do is to gather all of the ingredients and the materials which you will need to prepare this recipe. One you have prepped your kitchen then it is time to begin.
  2. Preheat your oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit while you are preparing the ingredients for the egg white meringue.
  3. Next, place the 3 egg whites in a small bowl and then beat the eggs thoroughly.
  4. Add the 1/4 tablespoon of cream of tartar to the egg whites that you are beating and then continue doing so.
  5. Next you will need to slowly add the sugar to the bowl. Continue to beat the ingredients until everything becomes stiff but not completely dry.
  6. Now you should spread the egg white meringue on top of a pie which you have made or you can also plop several small portions on a slightly greased baking tray.
  7. Bake this for about 15 minutes or until the meringue is lightly brown in color.
  8. Remove the egg white meringue from the oven, allow it to cool completely and then serve.
