Chocolate Caramel Mousse

We take a traditional dessert and bring it up a notch by turning it into CARAMEL Chocolate Mousse. Sure, chocolate is great by itself, but add some caramel to it and you've improved it by at least 63%. There are tons of things that go well with chocolate, but caramel is definitely on the short list. Try out this smooth mousse recipe and don't be fooled by the black beans that we use in it! Some people have said it sounds strange, but if we didn't tell you what this mousse was made of, you would never know! We've shared this recipe with friends and they've always loved it, so feel free to make plenty to share!

Ingredients

  • 15 oz low sodium black beans
  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
  • 1/3 cup Chocolate Caramel MuscleEgg egg whites
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons Walden Farms caramel sauce
  • 4 tablespoons cacao powder

Instructions

  1. Drain and rinse black beans, then pat dry with a paper towel.
  2. Place all ingredients in a large food processor and blend on high for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Wipe down edges and pulse until no lumps remain.
  4. Place in a container and refrigerate for 1-2 hours until set.
