Valarie Sanford

NPC Figure Competitor

About Valarie

What started off as checking something off of my bucket list, has resulted in 7 consecutive years on the Figure competition circuit. I love the ever-changing process of both physical and metal growth in the sport.  It has taught me more about myself that any other experience in my life.

I am currently the Manager of an LA Fitness but have worked as a personal trainer, fitness and competition coach, posing coach and nutritionist.  Before I was involved in the fitness industry, I worked as a dolphin and marine mammal trainer.  I have been married for 15 years and have the most amazing kids a mom could ask for. One boy and one girl who constantly keep me on my toes!

Career Highlights

As I look back on the experiences who have made me into the woman I am today, I think of the day I packed up my car and moved across the country to chase my dream career of working with dolphins. I am so greatfull for the courage to make the journey and begin a new chapter. It was a time of tremendous personal growth and opened so many doors for my future.

In the fitness industry I have continually made strides toward my goal of earning a Pro Card. My best finishes to date are 7th at USAs and 13th at North Americans. As a 44 year old mother I am pleased with that but will continue to work toward self improvement.

My favorite way to enjoy Muscle Egg seems to change all the time! With endless possibilities, its so fun to experiment. My current favorite is to make 1 cup of Chocolate, omlete-style and top it off with a touch of peanut butter and calorie-free syrup. Its pure maddness!
